About this template
What is this template?
This is a statutory filing form specifically for the Indian Trade Marks Registry. It contains fields for the description of the artistic work, the applicant's details, and a request for a certificate. It is not an application to register a trade mark, but a preliminary search request.
When should you use it?
Use this form when you need to prove a logo or artistic work does not infringe an existing trade mark before applying for copyright. Use Form TM-1 if you are applying for trade mark registration instead of a search certificate.
