CANCELLATION OF AN AGREEMENT
A mutual cancellation and release agreement, by which a principal and its commission agent agree to bring an earlier agency agreement to an end in India. The agent, unable to continue the work, is released from his obligations in consideration of the principal refunding the advance the agent had deposited; and both parties mutually relinquish their respective rights and obligations, so that the earlier agreement stands cancelled and rescinded. Being a document of release, it is to be stamped accordingly.
