The AMO Policies set the rules for contributing and sharing extensions, themes, reviews, and other user content on addons.mozilla.org, including compliance requirements, enforcement actions, and reporting mechanisms. They are issued and maintained by Mozilla as part of its official governance framework for the Firefox Add-ons ecosystem and are aligned with Mozilla’s broader acceptable use, privacy, and content moderation policies.

[online community] is an online community that hosts content created by [software name] users and developers. By participating in this community, you agree to comply with [company name]’s Terms of Use for Websites and Communications Services, and to be subject to [company name]’s Privacy Notice for Websites, Communications, and Cookies.
You can choose to contribute extensions, ratings, themes, collections, or other content for other members of the community to use. You can also upload or otherwise add content to create a user profile on [online community]. [company name]’s Acceptable Use Policy lays out our rules for user behavior on all [company name] products and websites, including [online community]. In addition, all extensions, themes, and collections shared on [online community] must comply with the [software name] Add-on Distribution Agreement, including the Add-on Policies, which provide technical, privacy, transparency and related standards for add-ons.
When a user shares content that violates these policies, we may remove the content from [online community], and in some cases will also limit or suspend the violator’s account. If you wish to report violations by another user, you can do so in the following ways:

For ratings: click the “Flag” link, at the bottom of the review
Add-ons that do not comply with these policies are not permitted, and will be removed from [online community] and/or disabled in [software name] if discovered.
