Application for Registration, Variation, or Cancellation of a Registered User (Form TM-U) (India)

This is a standard application form used in India for the registration, variation, or cancellation of a Registered User of a trademark. It allows the owner of a trademark to authorize another party to use the mark under specific conditions and to submit necessary details to the Trade Marks Registry.

This form is divided into three Parts i.e. A, B & C. Part A and C are required to be filled compulsorily. Part B is further divided in several subcategories and the same is required to be chosen by the applicant as per requirement and be filled accordingly. [Note: One form is meant for one request only. Different forms should be submitted for different requests. In case more than one request is claimed in one form the first one will be entertained and rest of the requests will be ignored.] [(a) One form is meant for request of one change only. Different forms should be filled up for different changes (b) The relevant information must be filled up in colored box against the respective head.]
