GRANTWRITING CONTRACT
This agreement is hereby made between [name of client] from [name of company], and [name of grant writer], who is working freelance as an independent contractor. [grant writer] joins [company] for assistance with [specific project].
Both parties agree upon the following terms and conditions:
[client] agrees to pay [grant writer 1] [amount] on a [rate] basis until [date] or until [project] is completed.
[grant writer 2] is an independent contractor, and not an employee of [company 1]. He/she therefore understands that he/she is not eligible for benefits and is responsible for reporting income and filing his/her own taxes.
[grant writer 3] and [client 1] stipulate that this agreement does not imply any other relationship between the two, and that any additional relationship desired by either party must be outlined in a separate agreement.
[grant writer 4] agrees to join [company 2] for the purpose of discovering and applying for grants on behalf of [company 3]. [grant writer 5] will perform the following duties for the company. The grant writer does not guarantee a result, but will do the following in good faith and with utmost confidentiality:
Seek out and pursue grant opportunities based on the needs and qualifications of [company 4].
Write grant proposals for opportunities agreed upon by [client 2].
Interview [company 5] team members for the purpose of training and information-gathering.
