Purpose
This Policy sets out the organisation’s approach to Environmental, Social and Governance (ESG) matters, ensuring that sustainability, ethical conduct, social value and good governance are integrated into decision-making, operations and reporting.
Scope
Applies to all business operations, procurement, investments, product development, HR practices and stakeholder engagement activities.

The organisation is committed to operating in a responsible and sustainable manner, minimising negative environmental impacts, promoting fair and safe workplaces, and upholding high standards of governance and transparency.
Environmental Commitments
Comply with UK environmental law including the Environment Act 2021 and relevant waste and emissions regulations.
Reduce energy consumption and carbon emissions where reasonably practicable.
Promote responsible use of resources and sustainable procurement.
Manage and dispose of waste safely and responsibly.
Social Commitments
Provide safe working conditions in accordance with the Health and Safety at Work etc. Act 1974.
Promote equality, diversity and inclusion in line with the Equality Act 2010.
Prohibit modern slavery and human trafficking in operations and supply chains, in line with the Modern Slavery Act 2015.
Engage with local communities and support social value initiatives.
Governance Commitments
Maintain transparent decision-making and accurate reporting.
Manage conflicts of interest appropriately.
Ensure Board oversight of ESG strategy and performance.
Comply with the Companies Act 2006 s.172 duty to have regard to stakeholders.
Monitoring and Reporting
ESG performance indicators shall be identified and monitored at least annually. Where required, ESG information shall be reported to stakeholders.
