Senior Full-stack Engineer (TypeScript)

Build and maintain scalable web apps with TypeScript across frontend and backend.

Position overview

We're looking for a Fullstack Engineer skilled in TypeScript to build and maintain scalable web apps. You'll work on both the frontend and backend to create a smooth user experience.

Key responsibilities

Frontend

  • Build responsive, user-friendly interfaces with Next.js and TypeScript.
  • Work with designers to turn UI/UX designs into functional apps.

Backend

  • Develop and maintain RESTful APIs with NestJS and TypeScript.
  • Design secure, scalable backend architecture.
  • Integrate with PostgreSQL and Elasticsearch.

Collaboration & best practices

  • Work with product managers, designers, and engineers in an Agile environment.
  • Write clean, maintainable, and documented code.
  • Conduct code reviews and give constructive feedback.
  • Keep up with new technologies and bring fresh ideas.

Requirements

Technical skills

  • Strong knowledge of TypeScript.
  • Experience with React and SSR implementation.
  • Backend experience with Node.js (NestJS preferably).
  • Familiarity with PostgreSQL and Elasticsearch.
  • Understanding of CI/CD, testing frameworks, and version control (e.g. Git).

Soft skills

  • Problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Good communication and teamwork.
  • Proactive and eager to learn.
  • Intermediate English level.

Education & experience

  • Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent, or equivalent experience.
  • 5+ years of experience in frontend, backend, or full-stack development.

Nice to have

  • Experience with Next.js or a similar SSR framework.
  • Experience with Google Cloud.
  • Familiarity with Docker and Kubernetes.
  • Experience with Agile/Scrum.
  • Familiarity with DDD.
  • Familiarity with AI tools for code assistance.
