Acme sent me their NDA. Can you review it before I sign?

Imported to GitLawAcme Mutual NDA
Asked GitLaw for a legal review

GitLaw found five issues. In short:

  1. High, Clause 6: confidentiality never ends
  2. Medium, Clause 9: 12-month non-solicit (your Northwind deal: 6 months)
  3. Medium, Clause 14: Delaware law, both parties in England

Fix 1 and 3. Keep the non-solicit but cut it to 6 months.

Edited in GitLaw3 tracked changes

Done. Confidentiality now lasts 3 years, the non-solicit is 6 months and English law governs. Version 2 is saved in GitLaw, ready to send back to Acme.

Frequently asked questions

Why connect GitLaw if I already use Claude?

Claude can read and write, but it does not keep your contracts or check its work against legal standards. GitLaw does both. Keep the AI you like, have GitLaw review its output, keep every contract and version in one place, apply your deal preferences automatically, get reminded before renewals, and send tracked changes your counterparty can open in Word.

Is GitLaw's MCP server free?

Connecting is free on every GitLaw plan, and so is using GitLaw from Claude: saving, searching, reading and editing your documents. It only costs money when you ask GitLaw AI to do the work, such as a legal review or a draft, which uses AI credits.

Which documents can Claude see?

It acts as you: it sees what you can see in GitLaw.

How do I disconnect?

Go to Settings, then Connected apps, and click Revoke next to the app. It loses access straight away.
