Frequently Asked Questions (FAQs)
What happens to reminders when someone leaves?
When a member leaves, reminders tied to shared work don't vanish - they transfer to the Org Owner.
How reminders work
Every reminder has one assignee (by default, whoever created it) and optional watchers.
- The assignee gets the email.
- Watchers see the reminder in-app.
If you can see a file, you can see its reminders - but only the assignee is emailed.
When someone leaves
| Type of reminder | What happens |
|---|---|
| Tied to a file or contact | Transfers to the Org Owner, with an alert |
| Not linked to any file or contact | Personal - leaves with the person |
Anything connected to shared work is caught by the Org Owner. Purely personal reminders leave with the person.
