To find the right contract in GitLaw's template library, browse by category to jump straight to the type of document you need, explore collections for curated groups of related templates, and combine both with search and jurisdiction filters to narrow the results. Categories tell you what a document is; collections group related templates around a theme.

How do I browse and filter the GitLaw template library?
GitLaw's template library is large, so it is organised with collections and categories. Together they make it much faster to find the right contract instead of scrolling through everything:
- Open the template library to see what is available.
- Browse by category to jump straight to the type of document you need, for example employment, NDAs or services agreements.
- Explore collections to discover curated groups of related templates you might not have searched for directly.
- Combine with search and jurisdiction filters to narrow results further. The library lets you filter by jurisdiction so you only see documents relevant to where you operate.
What is the difference between collections and categories?
Both help you navigate the library, but in different ways:
