Form TMA-1 is a statutory filing used to apply for entry onto the Register of Trade Marks Agents in India. It is not a power of attorney or a trademark registration application; it is a personal application for professional licensing.

When should you use it?

Use this form when you meet the qualifications under rule 153 and need to register with the Trade Marks Registry, rather than using Form TM-A which is for registering actual trademarks.
