About this template

What is this template?

This is a statutory filing form used by the Indian Trade Marks Registry to initiate the registration process for a standard trade mark. It is not for collective marks or certification marks, which require different forms. The document uniquely captures the 'Proprietor's code No' and specific 'Agents code No' alongside the mark's representation.

When should you use it?

Use this form when applying for a new trade mark registration in India for a specific class of goods or services. If you are registering a collective mark, you would use a different form specified by the Trade Marks Registry instead.
