About this template

What is this template?

This is an official statutory filing for the Indian Trade Marks Registry used for administrative changes after a mark has been registered. It is not an application for a new mark, but rather a mechanism to update the register for existing marks. It contains specific sections for the dissolution of associated marks and the conversion of goods specifications.

When should you use it?

Use this form when you need to record an assignment deed, change a registered user's address, or request an extension of time under Section 46(4). Use Form TM-A instead if you are applying for the initial registration of a new trade mark.
