How do I invite my team, family, or lawyer?

The short answer

Inviting people is built into GitLaw - not locked behind an upgrade. Whenever someone else works on contracts with you, bring them in: a colleague, a family member, or your outside lawyer or accountant.

Early on, GitLaw asks: "Who else works on contracts with you?" That's your cue - add whoever's involved, whenever you're ready.

Who you might invite

• Your team - colleagues who work on your business's contracts.
• Your family - in your personal organisation, maybe a partner sorting out a tenancy or family paperwork.
• Your lawyer or accountant - outside advisers who need to see specific files.

They see shared files, not private ones

Every file is either shared with your organisation or private - you choose as you add it. People you invite see the organisation's shared files; private files stay yours. See Can my teammates see or edit all my files?

Working with people in another organisation

If the person you want to work with - an outside lawyer, say - has their own GitLaw organisation, you can share across organisations. That's always free. See Do I pay for people I share with?.
