About this template
What is this template?
This is a corporate board resolution used to create a formal paper trail for the adoption of internal regulations. It is not a policy itself, but rather the legal mechanism that makes other documents official company policy. It specifically names the documents being adopted and identifies the exact date they come into force.
When should you use it?
Use this when you have finished drafting an internal policy, such as a health and safety or privacy policy, and need the board to officially authorize it. Use a Written Resolution or Minutes of a Board Meeting instead if you are recording the entire meeting rather than just this specific decision.
