Dog Training Agreement
This agreement is made on [date] between [name of client], hereafter “Client,” and [dog trainer name], hereafter “Trainer,” concerning the following dog:
[name of dog], [breed, color, weight, age] (hereafter “The Dog”)
The Client agrees to the following conditions:
To follow the trainer’s instructions without modification regarding any and all behavior and treatment of the Dog.
To pay [amount] per session for a total of [number] sessions with the Trainer.
To give at least [amount of time] notice in case of cancellation (if this condition is not followed, the Client agrees to pay the full amount for their session, regardless of attendance).
The Trainer will provide:
Professional training, as certified by [certification], at [location].
[one-on-one/group] sessions with the Dog and the Client on an [amount of time 1] basis.
Guidelines, tricks, and rules to help the Client to interact with the Dog in order to produce the best results in behavior.
The Trainer guarantees only professional training, and cannot guarantee behavior or results in individual dogs. If the Dog damages property, bites, or harms any personnel (or anyone on the training premises), the Client will be held responsible for all payments and legal fees.
The Trainer reserves the right to discontinue training if the Dog injures people or other animals, or if the Dog is considered a threat to people or other animals.
