EVENT PLANNING CONTRACT
This Event Planning Contract (hereinafter referred to as the "Contract") is made and effective [Effective Date] (the “Effective Date”),

EVENT BACKGROUND
The event is scheduled to take place on [Event Date], on the specified date(s) where the Client intends to organize the event described below:

PLANNER DUTIES
The Client hereby engages the Planner to perform the following responsibilities related to the event:

The Planner must obtain written consent from the Client before entering into any contractual agreements or issuing deposits or invoices.
PAYMENTS
The Client agrees to pay the Planner a total sum of [Total Fee] for the services rendered. The Planner will provide an invoice upon payment.
CANCELLATION POLICY
The Client reserves the right to cancel this Contract at any time. A full refund will be provided if the cancellation is made [Full Refund Notice Period] days before the event commences. If the Client cancels less than [No Refund Notice Period] days prior to the event, no refund will be issued. The Planner also reserves the right to cancel this Contract at any time. In the event of Planner's cancellation, a replacement planner agreed upon by the Client will be provided. The Planner will refund any funds previously received from the Client as a budget for the event or other purposes.
DISPUTE RESOLUTION ALTERNATIVES
Any dispute or disagreement arising from or in connection with this Contract shall be resolved through arbitration/mediation/negotiation (circle one) according to the laws of [Governing Law State].
LEGAL FEES
In the event of a dispute resulting in legal action, the prevailing party shall be entitled to recover legal fees, including attorney’s fees or other related expenses.
SEVERABILITY
If any provision of this Contract is determined to be invalid or unenforceable by a competent court, the remaining provisions shall remain in effect as intended by the Parties.
ENTIRE AGREEMENT
This Contract constitutes the entire agreement and understanding between the Parties regarding its subject matter, superseding all prior agreements, understandings, inducements, and conditions, whether expressed or implied, oral or written, concerning the same. The terms of this Contract prevail over any inconsistent course of performance or trade usage.
GOVERNING LAW
This Contract shall be governed by and interpreted in accordance with the laws of [Governing Law State].
