This template provides a letter for a consumer to make a claim against a credit provider for equal liability under Section 75 of the Consumer Credit Act 1974. It is used when a purchased item, paid for with a credit card, is faulty and the seller has failed to resolve the issue. The letter asserts the credit provider's joint and several liability for the breach of contract.
